I love his content because he is making meaningful connections and supporting others in the #debtfreecommunity, especially during these tough times! He really makes it feel like we're all in this together! I've been following his account for some time and it turns out we also have a lot of common:

  • We both grew up in the tri-state area. He grew up in New Jersey and me in New York, so we both have a love of pizza and bagels!
  • United as data nerds though he does it for a living, I just like to pretend I'm a data scientist at home.
  • We both enjoy tennis, Las Vegas Buffets and playing musical instruments! Is he my brother from another mother?!

We've never met in real life, but it feels like we and our spouses will need to go on a pizza double date once all this social distancing passes! I had to ask him how he's CRUSHing his money goals, and share some of his tips:

What is one way you continue to cultivate your mindset around money?
I believe money and freedom go hand in hand. If you have money, you'll be able to be more flexible in your life and do more of the things you value. You'll be able to share experiences with your family and freedoms that you otherwise may not have had.

What is one life goal you are working on (not money related)?
I'm working on being more intentional with my time! As I've gotten older, I've realized that time is so valuable. It's finite! So, it's important to spend time doing things that are important to you! I try and be as productive as I can everyday! --Totally 100% agree!

What is one tip you have for being more efficient with time, money or energy?
It may not make much sense now, but living a frugal lifestyle will save you so much money in the long run and give you the financial freedoms you're looking for! It's also great to have less stuff to declutter as well!

What is something you love and are not ashamed to spend money on?
Travel! My wife and I love spending money on traveling the world and exploring! It's worth it to us to save in other areas, so we can afford to travel!

What is your favorite way to make money?
Definitely investing! It's a great passive way to see your money grow (low and slow) over time!
